Reference frame in our study. Longitude and latitude axes are pointing in the increasing direction of Galactic longitude and latitude (at the center location of the Perseus cloud in the plane of the sky), respectively. The line-of-sight axis points in the direction of increasing distance from us. The angle η is the inclination angle of the filament with respect to the plane of the sky.
