Thin layer of enhanced polarised radio emission surrounding the head of the mushroom, possibly caused by magnetic draping. The X-ray mushroom is outlined by the cyan lines obtained by applying wavelet filtering to a background- and point-source-subtracted XMM-Newton image in the 0.5−2 keV energy band, combining MOS and pn data. The intrinsic polarisation vectors are rotated by 90° to show the local orientation of the magnetic field. White contours are at (5, 10, 20, 40)×σ with local noise σ = 12 μJy beam−1 and beam 15″ × 15″.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.

Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
