Notes. The table has one half for cULXss and another one for cbULXss, with each containing the same information for every complete sub-sample, broken down as follows. Top: mean value of VAR_PROB from 4XMM-DR9s according to morphology groups. Middle: occupancy of variability bins (in % and as defined in Sect. 4.4), also split according to the morphological type of the host galaxy. Bottom: mean maximum-to-minimum flux ratio of sources in each variability bin and morphology group.
