An example of possible inclination distributions of 39 random samples of AGN with inclination bin-sizes of 5°. We see 39 type 1 AGN randomly distributed between inclination angle between 0–60°; and 39 type 2 AGN randomly distributed between inclination angle 60–90°. The mean inclination angle for type 1 AGN ∼(40 ± 2)°, and for type 2 AGN it is ∼(75 ± 2)°. We over-plot the probability distribution functions of the inclination angle for type 1 and type 2 AGN as the dashed lines.
