Structure of the header part of the binary ephemeris file; “Serial” is the (4 byte integer) code of the ephemeris version (1255 at present), “number” is the (4 byte integer) number of bodies included. They are followed with the table of “number” rows, containing 8 byte character string with the perturber name and double precision floating point number containing the mass of the perturber.
