Integrated column density of the fit Maggie component. In a thermally bistable medium, two components (i.e., CNM and WNM), which are close in velocity, are encoded in the emission profile. We identify the Maggie component based on the mean position in the velocity domain, thus picking up both CNM and WNM features. The contours are the same as in Fig. 11.
