This forcing is towards an equilibrium profile in the outer atmosphere (P < P_converge) and towards an isotherm in the deep atmosphere (P > P_converge). We note that we only include a single model with deep radiative forcing here since models with even weaker deep cooling behave similarly, just with a different evolution and cooling timescale.
