Images of two prolate rotators from our sample. The deep image of the Virgo Cluster was obtained by Chris Mihos and his colleagues using the Burrell Schmidt telescope. The two prolate rotators from our sample (M 86 and M 87) are the two biggest galaxies in the image. The dark spots indicate where bright foreground stars were removed from the image.
