Chandra broad (0.5–7 keV) band flux image covering Swift/BAT 90% error circle for the burst as reported in Barthelmy et al. (2017) (blue circle). In addition to the originally suggested counterpart (labeled here as 2SXPS J075542.5−293353), several faint X-ray sources (red ellipses) are detected by Chandra within the BAT confidence region and just outside of it. At least two of those (labeled AC1/2) appear to have no obvious optical (Gaia DR2, blue circles) or near-infrared (2MASS, green circles, AllWise, yellow crosses) counterparts and therefore we propose that they could be true soft-X-ray counterparts to the burst detected by BAT.
