Photometric H-band observations of the inner bars and nuclear discs in NGC 1291, NGC 1433, and NGC 5850, obtained with HAWK-I. The insets show exactly the same field of view as the main images and illustrate the isophotes in the galaxy centres which highlight not only the axisymmetric structure of the nuclear discs but also the significantly elongated inner bars. For the three galaxies the inner bar is clearly distinguishable, in particular also the relatively weak inner bar of NGC 1433 whose existence has been debated. North is up; east is to the left.
