Histograms of the signed distance d_S (Eq. (3)) for stars classified as CEMP-s stars, CEMP-rs stars, or r star in Col. 8 of Table 1. The vertical dashed line at d_S = 0.6 sets the separation between CEMP-s and CEMP-rs stars using our new classification (Col. 9 of Table 1).
