Fig. C.1

Distributions of randomly generated instances of the 1D CCF at the rest-frame velocity of the planet. The distributions are constructed by considering random subsets of in- or out-of-transit CCFs, for each of the detected species reported in Sect. 3.2. The detected line amplitude is expected to be zero if out-of-transit CCFs are considered (out-out in orange and if in-transit CCFs are normalised with the master in-transit spectrum (in-in, blue). Only when the in-transit CCFs are normalised by the out-of-transit CCFs (in-out, green) is the measured line amplitude expected to deviate from zero; significantly so for the six species reported.
