Polar-cap model applied to 2007 data: the rotation axis (black arrow) is inclined 60° toward the observer but east-west oriented with PArot ∼ 270°; the magnetic axis (red line) is misaligned by ∼22° with respect to the rotation axis. The rotation of the star would result in different orientations of the magnetic axis, effectively reproducing snapshot 1 (top panel) and snapshot 3 (bottom panel). The intermidiate stage would correspond to snapshot 2.
