[C II] 158 μm, 12CO (2–1), and 13CO (2–1) integrated line intensity maps of the central square-degree region of Orion A. Some of the main structures and components discussed in this work are labelled. The [C II] 158 μm map was observed by SOFIA/UPGREAT at an agular resolution of 16″ (Pabst et al. 2019). The 12CO and 13CO maps, observed with the IRAM 30 m telescope, have a resolution of 11″.
