Notes. The definitions of the synthetic rotation profiles are given in Appendix A.2. The inversion results were calculated using the l = 1 mode set and the l = 1, 2, 3 mode set. Core and surface rotation rates were calculated with target radii of r0/R = 0.003 and r0/R = 0.98, respectively. The last row contains the input values for core and surface rotation rates in the different profiles.
