The vertical profiles were extracted at a radius of 4 kpc for all of the galaxies except NGC 2976 for which it was computed at 1.5 kpc (as its molecular disc does not extend to a radius of 4 kpc). The solid red lines represent the vertical profiles for single-component discs, whereas the blue dashed lines represent the same for two-component molecular discs.
