Column 1: name; a single colon denotes that one of three isotopologue ratios is lacking, a double colon denotes that two are lacking; Col. 2: projected linear diameter (in kpc) of a 22″ aperture at galaxy distance from Table 1; Cols. 3 through 9 contain two-phase modeling results assuming an intrinsic 12CO/13CO abundance of 40; Cols. 10 through 16 assume an abundance of 80 (see text). Columns 3 and 10: n1 is the H2 volume density of the first gas phase; Cols. 4 and 11: T1 is the kinetic gas temperature Tk of the first gas phase; Cols. 5 and 12: n2 is the H2 volume density of the second gas phase; Cols. 6 and 13: T2 is the kinetic gas temperature Tk of the second gas phase; Cols. 7 and 14: f12 is the relative contributions of gas phases 1 and 2 to the observed velocity-integrated J = 2−1 12CO emission; Columns 8 and 15: N(CO) is the beam-averaged CO column density in units of 1017 cm−2. Columns 9 and 16: is the fraction of all gas-phase carbon in CO.
