Solid (left) and elemental mass fractions (right) of solid planetary building blocks formed completely exterior to the water ice line (T < 150 K) around a star with [Fe/H] = −0.2 (top) and [Fe/H] = −0.4 (bottom). As for [Fe/H] = 0 (Fig. 2), the solid composition is dominated by H2O, while the elemental composition is dominated by oxygen and iron, where the iron content decreases for lower overall metallicities.
