The different coloured lines are for different luminosity classes: red for dwarfs (IV,V), green for giants (III) and blue supergiants (I,II). The method returns the spectral type corresponding to the highest peak, in this case F5 I-II. We assign an uncertainty of two spectral sub types to this value for all the classified stars.
