The solid line shows the results of model 1 (shallow heating in the density range Δ ρsh = [1−5] × 109 g cm−3). The dashed-dotted curves shows the results for model 9, in which the shallow heating is placed closer to the surface, at a density range Δ ρsh = [2−10] × 108 g cm−3, and the dotted curves show the results for model 10, in which the shallow heating is assumed to be located deeper in the crust (in the range Δ ρsh = [1−5] × 1010 g cm−3).
