Assumed here are neutron ³P₂ pairing gaps “a” (model 1, moderate pairing) and “c” (model 22, strong pairing) from Page et al. (2004), and we present the results of model 23 in which no neutron ³P₂ pairing is assumed to take place (curves labelled “none”). All models assumed the same neutron ¹S₀ pairing gap. Figure 4 shows the neutrino luminosity as a function of temperature for these three models.
