In model 7 (dashed-dotted curves) it is assumed that no shallow heating takes place and in model 11 (dotted curves) a shallow heating strength of Q_sh = 5.0 MeV nucleon⁻¹ is taken into account. In all models, deep crustal heating is assumed to take place as well.
