Reconstructions of 22 GHz VLBA+GBT observations and their resulting source extents. MK and SC have no detections, and HN and NL are flagged due to their very low sensitivity in this experiment. Left: a simple reconstruction of the scattered image without ℛΣ. Center: a reconstruction of the scattered image via stochastic optics (Johnson 2016), using the scattering model by Johnson et al. (2018). Right: a reconstruction with stochastic optics, using ℛΣ and the input source size as determined by Johnson et al. (2018) from high-precision Gaussian model fitting: θmaj = 2255 ± 61 μas, θmin = 1243 ± 39 μas, ϕ = 81.9 ± 0.2°. The reconstruction with ℛΣ helps constrain the extent of the source in the north–south direction, where measurements are lacking due to the predominantly east–west configuration of the VLBA+GBT.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.

Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
