Scheme of the Population III microquasar. When the star fills its Roche lobe, the black hole accretes matter that forms an accretion disk around the compact object. The rate of accretion is very high and the disk becomes thick, expelling an intense wind of particles from the disk. From the innermost region of the disk, powerful relativistic jets are ejected.
