Flowchart of TDOSE version 3.0. The top layer defines the required inputs (source catalog, reference image, variance cube, and data cube) and optional inputs (reference image model and source model cubes) expected by TDOSE either for one of the three extraction methods (aperture, gauss, and modelimg; center left) or for the modification of intrinsic data cubes shown on the right. The bottom part of the panel illustrates the outputs generated by each of the reductions and the cube modifier. Input reference image models can be converted to the format expected by TDOSE with a “model interpreter”. Tools for interpreting GALFIT multi-component models and models of individual objects are provided as part of TDOSE (for details on individual steps, formats, and outputs, see Sect. 3 and Appendix A).
