For comparison, we plot nine planets (including Proxima b and TRAPPIST-1 e, f, and g) from the Habitable Exoplanet Catalog12 (black circles) and the Earth (black circled plus) at the top. All symbol sizes scale with the fourth power of the Earth Similarity Index (ESI) assuming a rocky composition.
