Ma is the mass of accretor star; a is the orbital separation of the binary; Porb the orbital period; q is the mass ratio Md/Ma; Ωspin is the angular velocity added to the gas particles to mimic the rotation of the donor star, and is the same as the angular velocity of the binary; vinit is the initial velocity at which particles are injected at the radius of the donor star; vorb is the relative orbital velocity of the binary system; RL, 1 is the size of the Roche-lobe of the donor star; RL, 2 is the size of the Roche-lobe of the companion star; mg is the mass of the SPH gas particles.
