Radio occultation processing pipeline. The first part of the software, which comprises the SWSpec, SCtracker, PLL and SFXC correlation software, (in yellow blocks in Fig. 3) is used for every standard PRIDE experiment. This part of the processing pipeline gives open-loop Doppler and VLBI observables as output. The second part of the software was developed for the sole purpose of processing radio occultation experiments. It consists of three main modules: the frequency residuals derivation module, the geometrical optics module and the Abelian integral inversion module. The output of this second part are vertical density, temperature and pressure profiles of the target’s atmosphere.
