In each case we show: the Spearman correlation coefficient and corresponding p-value (first row); the significance of the correlation derived from the ratio of the linear best-fit angular coefficient and its uncertainty (second row); the probability of having a significance lower than 2σ if a random 20% of the sample is removed (third row). For the calculations we excluded the upper limits, missing EW(Paβ) measurements, and the four outlier starbursts (ID 303305, 345018, 472775, 545185) in the three diagrams relating AV, tot to N2, FWHMline and EW(Paβ).
