ALMA 12CO(2-1) line emission contour at 2 mJy beam−1 overplotted on the Hα+[NII] image. The molecular gas was detected at ∼40″ southeast from the nucleus of M 87. The Hα filament is located at the southeast edge of the cavity formed by the counter-jet.
