Notes. We perform the test for comparability for all cases with the modified null hypothesis (21). The first two rows correspond to a mass-limited sample, the next two to a magnitude limited sample and the last two consider also shape noise. For each we show the result with and without mitigation. As can be seen by eye, the mitigation drastically improves the result in the first two cases. In the case that include noise the
test still performs better when the mitigation is used.
