From top to bottom, first row of images: 2D maps taken in the continuum of the 630 nm lines. The green contours correspond to the apparent transverse magnetic flux density with a cutoff at 140 Mx cm−2. The yellow lines signify the cuts along a direction s (running from left to right) with one-arcsecond intervals indicated by yellow boxes. Second row: line-of-sight velocity. Positive velocities correspond to down flows. On the x axis, we follow along the cut s shown in the first row and the y axis displays the values at different heights measured in logτ500. The coloured lines then follow the 2D field map of the magnetic field vectors with the colours indicating the total magnetic field strength according to the colour bar on the right side. Third row: horizontal magnetic field strength obtained from the Stokes inversions. The lines following the magnetic field are now in black for better visibility. The cyan-coloured line, which outlines the loop shape, is to direct the eye.
