Confusion matrix for the RR Lyrae stars. As control sample we used all the variable stars classified as RR Lyrae by the OGLE survey in the LMC, SMC, and MW bulge that have a cross-match within a radius of 3 arcsec with the SOS-confirmed RR Lyrae stars published in Gaia DR2 for a total of 37 941 objects. Rows refer to literature results and columns to results of the SOS Cep&RRL pipeline. The corresponding success percentage is shown in the diagonal cells.
