Coherent infall into clusters creating a qualitatively similar signal in redshift space as differential expansion. Galaxies in front of a cluster have fewer overdense regions in the lines of sight than galaxies behind a cluster, simply because then the cluster (which is overdense) is part of their lines of sight.
