Angle of direction of the horizontal velocity of the spiral wavefronts as a function of the direction of the horizontal magnetic field. The angle is measured counterclockwise from the X axis in Fig. 5. Red lines indicate the regions where the wavefront velocity is aligned with the horizontal magnetic field. The middle line represents the case where the velocity and the magnetic field point in the same direction, while the two outer lines correspond to vectors in opposite directions.
