A number of fragments, N_i = 2, indicate that both the strength criterion and distance criterion have been fulfilled for the first time. A number of fragments between 1 and 2 indicate that the strength criterion has been saisfied, but the distance criterion has not, and therefore weconsider that the body has broken apart, but the fragments have not separated far enough to be considered separate bodies.
