V-band images of the unique major-merger remnant in our sample with clear relics of a large bar in its disc (model gSbgSbo72, S0 type). We have used a totally saturated logarithmic grayscale in the top panels to emphasise the faint structure of the outer disc. The bar forms a counter-clockwise angle of ~30° with respect to the vertical in the face-on image and produces an X-shaped structure in the edge-on view, typical of bars. These features are better appreciated in the Gaussian-smoothed images of the bottom panels (σ = 10 pixels or 2.5″), just attending to the shape of the over-plotted isophotes at the outer region. Both bar-related features have been marked with yellow guidelines in the corresponding panels. The FoV is 100 × 100 kpc2 and μlim(V) = 26 mag arcsec−2 (S/N = 5).
