Notes. The table lists: the volume fraction in the mixture, f, the mole fraction, x, in case of binary solid solutions, and the mass density, ϱ, of the mixture. The mole fractions x refer to the fayalite and ferrosilite in the case of olivine and pyroxene, respectively, to the anorthite component in case of plagioclase, and to the nickel content of the nickel-iron alloy.
