Desorption profile of the 1:24 13CH3OH:CO mixture, heated at 1 K min−1. CO is traced by mz 16 (black) and desorbs just above 30 K, while 13C-methanol is traced by mz 33 (red) and desorbs around 130 K. The presence of mz 16 at the methanol desorption peak is due to the 13CH3 (= 16 amu) fragment.
