Notes. Thetotal amount of observation sequences, cycles, and time is given for each heliocentric position μ on the solar disk. The size of the elliptical telescope movement is listed. Each sequence consists of up to 800 cycles, but at least 400 cycles. The exposure time was set to 0.5 s giving a cycle cadence of 1.5 s. The orientation of the elliptical oscillation of the telescope is sketched in Fig. 3 for the different axes.
