Final mass M_F in units of M_L for model II. M_F is plotted against the level of turbulence for cases with A = 2, 5, 10, and 20, and without thermal support (A →∞, magenta). Model II also shows that M_F is expected to be larger than 3 when the envelope is truncated at , and > 5 when (blue thin lines).
