Possible masses for the candidate around Kepler-1625 b in a capture scenario. The Keplerian speed at the orbit of Kepler-1625 b is about 30 km s−1 and provides a reasonable upper limit on the relative collision speed between it and a possible binary approaching on a close-encounter trajectory.
