H₂O 557 GHz spectra of ρ Oph A obtained by SWAS and Odin. For this comparison, the Odin data have been convolved into the larger SWAS beam and are shown in blue, whereas the SWAS spectrum at two times lower frequency resolution is displayed in red. The comparison reveals a high degree of consistency and shows the high-velocity wings, traceable to at least ± 30 km s^-1 relative to the systemic Doppler velocity.
