Rotation of the PPA between points A and B (see Fig. 3), corresponding to the difference between maximum and minimum values of the PPA at azimuthal angles close to −90°. The polarization angle modulation is shown for every inclination of the observer. The shaded gray area represents the line of sight obscured by the clumpy equatorial dust distribution, setting the boundary between Seyfert-Is and Seyfert-IIs (the later type being in the gray area).
