Emission from a thin Keplerian disk (KD), a biconical radially accelerated polar wind (PW), and a radially accelerated equatorial wind (EW) in projection onto the plane of the sky, for a set of representative inclinations of the line of sight to the observer. The inclination of the line of sight is quoted in degrees, next to the model initials. For each BLR model, Col. 1 is the wavelength-integrated surface brightness; Col. 2 is the emission line profile; and Cols. 3−9 are the surface brightness of the emission region that contributes to a given velocity range in the line profile. The parameter v0 is the highest velocity of the BLR gas. In the Keplerian disk and equatorial wind, the maximum projected velocity that determines the width of the line at zero intensity decreases with decreasing inclination of the line of sight.
