The panels on the left show the brightness maps, with the line of sight in the xy plane, while those on the right show the polarization maps (the magnetic field direction is plotted). For the top panels the line of sight makes an angle of 90° with the jet direction, in the middle the angle is 45° and at the bottom the angle is 20°. The brightness maps have a logarithmic scaling and cover a range of four order of magnitude.
