Results for the 2D Sedov test at t = 0.1. S1 corresponds to p = 0 (standard VE) and Δn = 0 (no equalization). S2 shows the effect of the VE with p = 0.7 in and no equalization, while S3 corresponds to p = 0 and equalization with Δn = 5. The profile S4 shows the outcome when p = 1.0 in and Δn = 0. We show here the radial profiles of density (upper-left), normalized pressure (upper-right), and the fulfillment of the conditions | ⟨ Δr ⟩ | = 0 (bottom-left) and bVbWab = 1 (bottom-right).
