Notes. N represents the particle number for the component and M the mass, while the subscripts d, b, and h correspond to disc, bulge, and halo. The solar neighbourhood surface density Σsol together with the thin disc scale height and scale length, zd and Rd characterize the disc density distribution. σR and σR0 correspond to the solar and central radial velocity dispersions of the disc. In the case of the bulge, Rb and σb are the effective radius and the characteristic velocity scale.
