Notes. Most of the parameters are given by NASA fact sheets9 and IMCCE databases. For both planets, the radiation frequency is arbitrarily fixed at σ0 = 7.5 × 10-7 s-1, which is the effective Newtonian cooling frequency obtained by Leconte et al. (2015) for Venus. This order of magnitude can be computed using Eq. (17). The quadrupolar tidal potentials are computed from the expression of the gravitational potential given by Mathis & Le Poncin-Lafitte (2009); see Appendix C.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.

Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
