Mass cutoff used to select the galaxy population for the construction of the formation redshift function (FzF). The grey crosses represent the full VUDS sample, while the orange circles are the galaxies selected for the computation of the FzF. These galaxies are selected to be above the blue line. The blue line represents the evolution of a galaxy with log M = 9.3 at z = 5 with redshift, following the evolution of the characteristic mass of the stellar mass function as derived by Ilbert et al. (2013).

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
